Description:
This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Plan, perform and administer purchasing activities to assure that all assigned production parts and materials are delivered within required delivery, quality, compliance and pricing perimeters. Conduct and document procurement activities and negotiations to support prudent buying decisions. Maintain ongoing interface with various departments to assure that materials purchased meet requirements at the lowest practical cost. Monitor open order reports. Take appropriate corrective action on Monthly Reporting Factors. Take an active leadership role on assigned projects. Frequently required to develop Excel spreadsheets as a visual reporting mechanism to management. 0-3 years of experience required.
